A§E
Loudness Scaling
The A§E loudness scaling test is based on narrow band noise centred at 250, 1000
or 4000 Hz with variable intensity. These noises are used in an identification task
to scale the subjective loudness.
The results are displayed on a graph. The value on the x-axis correpond to the presented
intensity. The y-axis corresponds with the subjective response value of the listener.
