A§E
Localization
The A§E localization test is based on narrow band noise centred at 4000 Hz which
is presented through two loudspeakers with different intensities to create an interaural
loudness difference. This is used to assess the localization capacity as indication
of the central integration of binaural input.
The results are displayed on a graph. The value on the x-axis represents the difference
in intensity between both speakers. The y-axis corresponds with the responded speaker
number.
